I heard a cool saying once: "Opposites attract sound." I feel a connection to that, and have sort of adopted it as a mantra. I’ve composed,
collaborated, and performed in what seem like completely opposite settings and genres. I’ve sung in Carnegie Hall, the Vatican, in theaters,
concert halls, and hole-in-the-wall rock clubs. I’m comfortable writing and recording anywhere – from big-budget studios to tour buses
to my own home studio. I founded Esion; an electro-rock band that released four albums between 1995 and 2001, was the vocalist in a jazz combo,
and toured internationally with an award-winning choir. Behind the scenes, I’ve also worked professionally as a music editor, tour manager,
and booking agent.

At the heart of everything, and what I enjoy most, is the songwriting. Whether I’m composing for film, TV, video games, other artists, or myself,
I can draw from a full well of inspiration that seemingly replenishes itself each time I go back for more.

After graduating from college with a degree in music & marketing, I focused more on songwriting. While I have an enormous respect for classical music, I
decided then that I didn’t want to limit myself to a specific genre or style. I enjoy keeping a finger on the pulse of what’s out there
without abandoning my own sound. I feel that by having an open-mind and a cornucopia of diverse tastes and experiences in my back pocket, I’m
able to connect with different audiences while gaining new perspectives each time I approach a project.
